I have served on Furman University’s Student Activities Board since freshmen year until present. I have served as a board member and also the chair of our homecoming week charity competition during my sophomore year. This committee consisted of planning a weeks worth of events for the contestants to compete in and raise money for the individual philanthropy they have chosen to donate to.
VPA (Vice President of Administration) of FUSAB: January 2014-December 2014
Vice President of Administration serves as secretary, to take attendance at board meetings, the minutes of the meeting, keeping the office clean and presentable, and holding the members of the board accountable for their obligations as members of FUSAB.
Admissions Concierge: August 2014-Present
Working as a member of the concierge team in the admissions office of Furman University. Organizing tours for the visitation program at Furman and serving as a receptionist at the front desk of the Welcome Center.
Admissions Ambassador: May 2013-Present
Taking perspective students and their families on hour long walking and golf cart tours around Furman’s campus.
FUtures: August 2012-May 2013
Hosting overnight visits and lunch visits for perspective students touring Furman University. Giving them a current students perspective of everyday life at Furman.
Intern at The CM Group: May 2014-August 2014
The CM Group provides medical meetings and marketing solutions for the health industry. I worked as an intern with the CM Group during the Summer of 2014.
Chocolate Therapy: May 2014-2014
Gourmet Chocolate Shop, specializing in the therapeutic benefits of their ingredients.
Hugs Plus Learning Center: December 2014-August 2013
Working as an Assistant Teacher in the infant classroom (5 months-1 year).
